December newsletter
Hope this finds you all well, and your holiday season was filled with family and friends!!
We have been extremely busy and fortunate to be out in the field this month with some great guys.
when heading out into the woods after a lion. you need to be prepared for many different weather conditions and temperatures. depending on the location of the hunts you could be dealing with sunny dry and temps in the 40-50’s. or 3ft of wind blowing snow with the high never reaching zero in the day. you need to talk to your outfitter and get a good feel for typical weather conditions. but you also need to know your self and prepare accordingly. if your coming from south Florida to hunt the rocky mountain west in January the cold is going to hit you much harder than the outfitter that hasn’t seen temps above freezing for two months.
Are you planning a horseback hunt this fall? maybe a wilderness hunt chasing rocky mountain elk, hunting Western mule deer. Or maybe you've booked that dream mountain lion hunt with dogs Whatever it may be you're after, here are some things to keep in mind when planning your next Horseback adventure.
