Hope this finds you all well, and your holiday season was filled with family and friends!!

We have been extremely busy and fortunate to be out in the field this month with some great guys.

Eric with his first-ever cow elk. We hunted hard for this one and success never felt or tasted better. We put in a lot of miles with some ups and downs both physically and mentally. But in

In the end we left with some great meat, memories

and friendship that will last forever!!

Ryan and Jennifer joined us from Missouri.

the first day we picked up the tracks of this lion.

Trailing was not easy, with it being an older

track and a constant back and forth from one

side of the canyon to the next. Going through

lots of elk and deer tracks and constant help

from us, we found this lion 11 miles from where

the dogs started to the tree.

We had a lot of fun on kens hunt. Ryan and

Jennifer stuck around and put in a lot of miles helping ken look for this track. We had good conditions but the mountain lions just were not moving much, making cutting any tracks difficult. We found this track late in the afternoon on day four. Was not the freshest of

tracks but we turned the dogs loose regardless.

Info from the dog tracker informed us we trailed out 12 miles no lion in a tree and the light fading we walked in and pulled the dogs off for the night.

We recruited some good help the next day,

Blake and Justin turned up the track first thing and the race was on once again. We caught up

to kens mountain lion ending our hunt but not

the work. The old lion got stuck in the tree, we

were left with just one option and that was to

cut the tree down with a 10inch bone saw.
